Individual art therapy
In my art therapy sessions with adults, I begin by creating a safe and supportive environment that encourages self-expression and creative exploration. Our conversations guide the process, inviting clients to explore their curiosities collaboratively. The focus of each session is to create meaning together while ensuring respectful sharing in a safe space. I encourage clients to choose art materials and techniques that resonate with them, using these tools to create artwork that reflects their inner world.
Through the creative process, clients gain insight into their emotions and behaviors, exploring new ways to cope with challenges and stress. Art therapy fosters self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-acceptance, while helping clients develop new skills and perspectives for tackling life’s difficulties.
I also integrate other therapeutic techniques, such as guided meditation, mindfulness practices, and holistic and integrative approaches, to enrich the therapeutic experience.
